Thanks for being so nice to my neighbor’s mother. She visited your shop last weekend and loved it after I gave you a glowing recommendation. Wish I could have come with her. She is taking care of her 6 month old grandchild for awhile. I couldn’t come as my husband had a stroke on Feb. 11th and that’s all I’ve been doing since. He was in the hospital for 18 days and now is going to outpatient therapy 3 days a week. He can’t walk without a walker. His right side was affected. I’ve had to put sewing and quilting on the back burner so to speak. Betty, my neighbor’s mother, was very impressed with your shop and I know you made her feel welcome. Thanks.

Hi Lee Ann~My order arrived safely today. I love it all. The kit is going
to be a favorite all winter long I can tell. I'm just sorry you were out of
the Night Before Stars fabric as I really liked that as well. The Beach
Babies Sea Shell Toss is perfect for the backing on my Beachcomber kit and
the Nature's Bounty Leafy is perfect for the back of a maple leaf quilt top
I just finished piecing. Love getting your stuff as it always comes so
fast~just wish I didn't have to pay those CA taxes! Oh well, can't win it

I wanted to pat you guys on the
back for giving back by donating a portion of your sales to ovarian cancer. In this
day and age where everyone is out for themselves and the money they can make, it is

don't have ovarian cancer but I have endometriosis which is not life threathening

I got your ad email today and it prompted me to do what I have been meaning to do for quite some time - write a quick email to let you know that my order did arrive and WE are delighted. So, you don't have to look up the order, you made a special order for me for the Angel House yellow dot - I wanted quite a bit, so I would have
it on-hand for backing for a queen size quilt. I don't even have the quilt in mind yet. You thought you had enough and when you went to cut it, there wasn't enough, so you ordered another bolt. I say WE are delighted because when the box came and I opened it, my husband saw the fabrics. When he saw the yellow fabric, he exclaimed
"OH! That's pretty!" We had been discussing yellow for part of a quilt sometime,but had no idea what shade, no nothing about - just yellow.
I had read somewhere that yellow is a very difficult color to incorporate into a quilt. After I ordered the yellow, I read either in a magazine or on a website - regardless Joanna Figueroa being the source that yellow goes with every color on the color wheel. I just left all my fabrics in their wrappings so they will stay clean. I am also thrilled with the pricing you gave me. The only income we have is my Social Security disability and your generosity is greatly appreciated. That was very sweet of you to discount it for me. May God richly bless you. You can rest assured you have a repeat customer. Just because I don't order often doesn't mean I'm not looking and "window shopping." I have lots of kits and don't get to quilt much, but I love to look.

Hi Lee Ann - Got my bali pop order this morning & it is wonderful. Thanks for the great sale price. The main reason I am writing this though,is to tell you what a nice surprise it was that you only charged $2.70 for shipping, rather than just going ahead & shipping priority. I know, the price difference is only $2.50 and that some days I'd spend that much on coffee or lottery tickets.
Still, in the realm of on line shopping, a break on shipping really feels like it makes a difference in being worth your while to place an order. I'm sure that you make a lot of customers happy.

Hi Lee Ann,
If the pansy spots have vanilla in the center like the 'Pansy Mauve' related
fabric, I don't want it.
I thought it was like a purple blender so with vanilla in the spots, it
doesn't meet my needs.
Thank you for letting me know! I usually place an order that includes some 'must have' fabric along with less important choices and I've learned through experience, if I don't ask ahead of time, some orders arrive without the must have items.
This wasn't a 'must have item' so the rest of the order will be great, just cancel the one fabric, please.
I really appreciate your time and consideration in letting me know about the fabric difference! It's that kind of customer service that will keep me coming back.

Hi Lee Ann,
The fabric arrived a few minutes ago, and it is beautiful!!!! I really like it!!! My daughter will love it too. And thanks for giving me the sale price and pursuing looking for the rose bud pattern and more of the green. I really appreciate everything you did to get me this material and for giving me the sale price. I will try and remember to send you a picture of the quilt, but it may be down the road. I am in the process of starting another one and the In the Beginning quilt will be next.
What not to do when dealing with your customers:!!!!
I also ordered some material from another quilt shop on line. Not only did they send me the wrong pattern, 8 yards of it, they did not include an invoice in the shipment, and later I found out they had a sale and did not give me the sale price!!!! They did try to get more of the pattern I wanted but could not. and they also sell in 1/2 yard increments only. 1/2 yard is one increment, so I had to order 16 increments. So I had to go back to basic math and figure that one out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That was too much work.
So it was really a delight to receive what I wanted and with a sale price and an INVOICE so I could check what I had ordered. Now who do you think I am going to do more business with?
